Nigel McGuinness, Kevin Kelly, And Jim Ross Announced As AEW Collision Broadcast Team

Tony Khan has confirmed the broadcast team for AEW Collision.

The AEW CEO announced that Nigel McGuinness and Kevin Kelly will be the weekly commentary team, and they will be joined by expert analysis from Jim Ross.

The commentary team had not been confirmed prior to Khan’s tweet. The lineup reunites Kelly and McGuinness, who used to work together in Ring of Honor. Years ago, Kelly and Jim Ross were part of the RAW commentary team when Kelly worked for WWE. In recent years, Kelly has been doing English commentary for New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

Kelly subsequently tweeted that he would continue to do commentary for NJPW, and he will have fill-in help while he is in Japan for the G1 Climax 33 tournament.

WWE released McGuinness, who had been part of the commentary team for NXT UK and other shows, in October 2022. He returned to Ring of Honor at ROH Supercard of Honor on March 31, and he made his AEW debut on the April 5 episode of AEW Dynamite. Khan then announced that McGuinness had signed with the company.

The card for the June 17 episode of AEW Collision can be found here. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs.
