Zoey Stark Discusses The Beginning Of Her Run On WWE RAW

Zoey Stark discusses her move to WWE RAW.

The NXT star was selected by the red brand in the 2023 WWE Draft. After two dominant wins on RAW, she joined forces with Trish Stratus and helped the legend beat Becky Lynch at WWE Night of Champions. The duo has been paired up ever since. Stratus helped Stark qualify for the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match on the June 5 episode of WWE RAW.

Speaking with Rick Ucchino for Cageside Seats and Bleav in Pro Wrestling, Straks discussed being put in such a prominent spot shortly after her arrival on WWE RAW. She stated that Triple H knew she could handle the pressure, and she believes she is proving herself.

“If you were to tell me while I was still in NXT, ‘Hey, in one month you’re gonna be working with Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch.’ I would say you are absolutely out of your mind, crazy,” Starks said. “There’s no way that would ever happen. Hunter put me in this position because he knows I can handle it and hang with those two girls. And I think I’m proving myself right now.”

Starks also made it clear that Stratus has had a significant impact on her career, and she cited the way the legend main-evented WWE RAW as an example.

“Very big influence,” Stark said. “The Raw that she main evented with Lita, I think, at least for me, and I’m gonna speak for all the girls out there. I feel like that was the moment in time where we all realized, hey, we could do this and we can be taken seriously and we can main event shows. You know, since that happened, Charlotte [Flair], Becky, Ronda [Rousey], they were all able to main event WrestleMania. Now Bianca [Belair]’s been able to do it. It’s just like, all of us girls are able to do so much more because that one match happened.”
