AEW Seamstress Sandra Gray To Retire

A noteworthy backstage name in All Elite Wrestling is retiring.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that seamstress Sandra Gray, who had been with the company since the beginning, is finishing up. Gray is well-liked by the roster, and she has been in the business since the 1990s. Over the years, she worked for both WCW and WWE; she left WWE in 2015.

Sapp wrote that Brandi Rhodes played a big part in bringing Gray into AEW. The report noted that, even after she retires, Gray will keep making Cody Rhodes’ gear, which she has been doing for years.

In addition to typical wrestling gear, Gray has helped make wedding dresses for on-screen weddings in wrestling, and she has also worked on the uniforms for the Houston Texans cheerleaders.

Update: Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful tweeted that AEW’s Dustin Rhodes led a celebration of Gray before the June 7 episode of AEW Dynamite. Tony Khan and other members of the staff gave Gray flowers.

WrestleZone wishes Gray the best in her retirement.
