Madi Wrenkowski not understanding what KiLynn King was trying to be on social media led to the creation of her #SideCharacterSpotlight.
One-half of the NWA World Women’s Tag Team Champions Madi Wrenkowski recently sat down with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked what her inspiration was for her social media show #SideCharacterSpotlight, Wrenkowski told a hilarious story about her show came to be.
“So in the business when you work, it’s like a big world but a small world that a lot of times you see the same people over and over,” Madi Wrenkowski said. “And I was unfortunate enough to see KiLynn [King] all the time. And KiLynn has evolved in a sense. She now calls herself the motherf*cking King, and having to hear that over and over and hear her say that, and everyone on social media saying that she’s the motherf*cking King.
“I was like, what does that actually mean? Like, what does that mean? At the very base level of like, you’re a king that f*cks mothers? So I have a very strange sense of humor. So I was like, it would be really funny to like, do a little interview with her and just see her reaction to that. So like every #sidecharacterspotlight is basically like a candid camera. My whole point is to see or try and get some type of reaction from the person next.”
When asked who her favorite or dream guest would be, Wrenkowski pointed to KiLynn King as her favorite guest but her dream guest would be Jazz.
“I think my favorite is, again, just the initial one that started that spark with KiLynn,” Madi Wrenkowski said. “I definitely would like to get Jazz on there. scared she might hit me though. But that’s definitely one person I have down on my list. Yeah, they’re all side characters. So I can’t really have like a favorite favorite.”
