AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2 is right around the corner, and the June 7 episode of AEW Dynamite will lean into the interpromotional spirit.
All Elite Wrestling announced that Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta) will face CHAOS (Rocky Romero, Trent Beretta, and Chuck Taylor) in a trios match on Wednesday.
Moxley and Castagnoli are coming off a hard-fought six-man tag team match at NJPW Dominion on June 4. Their Blackpool Combat Club stablemate, Bryan Danielson, will face NJPW’s Kazuchika Okada at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view on June 25.
AEW also announced that Kris Statlander will defend the TBS Championship against Anna Jay A.S.
