O’Shay Edwards is coming to Major League Wrestling.
MLW announced that O’Shay Edwards will make his debut at the MLW Fusion taping on July 8. The show will be held at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
O’Shay Edwards was previously featured in Ring of Honor as a member of Shane Taylor Promotions alongside Shane Taylor, Moses, and Kaun. The group held the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship together, and Edwards helped defend the gold.
Gene Snisky has also been announced for the MLW Fusion taping. More information is available here.
During an interview with WrestleZone, Taylor, Edwards and Kaun reflected on the group’s success in Ring Of Honor. Edwards says he saw the group as a way to prove himself to everyone, including his stablemates.
“It was the day that I linked up with Shane and Moses and Kaun, and they were the first group of people where I was never trying to prove them wrong, I was trying to prove ’em right,” said Edwards. “…It was just like, ‘Nah man, you’ve got the right guy. You want me, let me show you why you made the right choice. And every day I stepped up into that ring, it was to prove that you guys made the right choice, regardless of who’s signing checks, regardless of who’s in front of us, regardless of whose ring we were in. It was, hey man, we made the right choice here.”
