WWE has a new multi-year deal with Twitch.
On Monday, WWE announced a multi-year partnership with Twitch. The new agreement not only sees the return of the official WWE channel, but WWE will debut a companion sidecast to Monday Night RAW. Additionally, the WWE channel will also be home to “other live productions” and will be an alternate streaming feed for WWE’s premium live event press conferences.
WWE issued an edict in 2020 that informed talent they would no longer be able to use several third-party social media platforms. In 2022, the promotion told talent that they would be able to increase their use of some of those platforms but had not reached a deal with Twitch at the time.
More recently, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reported WWE inked a deal with Twitch, with a few stipulations. According to the report, revenue will be split three ways with talent, WWE and Twitch. In addition, talent cannot stream with talent outside of WWE without getting prior clearance.
