Bishamon (Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI) are now double champions, and Catch 2/2 have regained the gold, as multiple titles changed hands at NJPW Dominion.
The eventful show featured a three-way match for the IWGP Tag Team and NJPW STRONG Tag Team Championships. Both sets of titles were vacated at NJPW Resurgence, as Kyle Fletcher announced that his tag team partner, Mark Davis, was out injured.
On Sunday, Bishamon (Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI) won both titles by defeating United Empire (Aaron Henare & Jeff Cobb) and House of Torture (EVIL & Yujiro Takahashi) to win the gold. With the victory, Bishamon began their third reign with the IWGP Tag Team Titles and their first reign with the NJPW STRONG Tag Team Championships.
Elsewhere on the show, Catch 2/2 (TJP & Francesco Akira) regained the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships by defeating Intergalactic Jet Setters (KUSHIDA and Kevin Knight). With the victory, Catch 2/2 won the titles for the second time. KUSHIDA and Knight dethroned them at the Road to Wrestling Dontaku event on April 27.
Bullet Club made its presence known after both tag team title matches. Alex Coughlin and Gabriel Kidd, collectively known as the Bullet Club War Dogs, confronted Bishamon and brawled with them, as the potential challengers made it clear that they have their sights set on the gold.
Plus, Dan Moloney turned on Catch 2/2 and aligned with Bullet Club member Clark Connors after their match. In doing so, Moloney seemingly joined Bullet Club.
