IMPACT Wrestling is taking care of business in Memphis.
Mid-South Mayhem will mark IMPACT Wrestling’s first event in Memphis in eleven years. The promotion will host two nights of tapings at the Graceland Soundstage on September 22 and 23.
The two Mid-South Mayhem shows are the first IMPACT Wrestling events in Memphis since the company (then known as TNA Wrestling) hosted Basebrawl in July 2012. Tickets for both Memphis events are on-sale Friday, June 2 at impactwrestling.com.
IMPACT Wrestling is advertising the following names for Mid-South Mayhem:
IMPACT World Champion Steve Maclin, Frankie Kazarian, Tommy Dreamer, Bully Ray, Nick Aldis, Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards, Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, Moose, PCO, Trey Miguel, Deonna Purrazzo and Gisele Shaw. Other names will be announced at a later time.
WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard spoke with Trinity (fka Naomi) about her recent arrival in IMPACT Wrestling.
In addition to performing in front of a new fanbase, Trinity wants to continue building her ‘glow’ persona. Trinity believes she’s only scratched the surface of where she could take it.
“That’s what I am looking forward to. I feel that the glow is me, the glow is here to stay. That is what makes me unique, that is my thing. That is something I’ve put my heart, mind, body, and soul into. However, I do want to see the different layers to it,” Trinity said. “I wanna see where I can go with this thing, this character, this person, this entrance, and this aura. I haven’t tapped into it yet, really just touched the surface of it.
“We don’t know what the glow looks like when she’s pissed, what she looks like on a bad day,” she added. “We don’t know what it’s like to fear the glow, so maybe on this IMPACT journey, we can get there, who knows? I know that there’s more to do with it, and we shall see what happens.”
