Leyla Hirsch is reportedly on her way back to the ring following a substantial injury.
The AEW star has not wrestled since April 2022, as she suffered a torn ACL during a taping of AEW Dark: Elevation. Hirsch subsequently had surgery in May, and she has been recovering ever since.
In an update, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that Hirsch is nearing her return to the ring, and she is headed back to the roster soon. Per Sapp, she has been preparing for her return to completion.
Before her injury, Hirsch had been a featured member of the women’s division. She defeated Kris Statlander at AEW Revolution 2022, and she had a 9-2 record for the year until she got hurt.
