Qualifying matches for this year’s WWE Money in the Bank ladder matches kicked off on the Memorial Day edition of WWE RAW.
In the first match of the night, Ricochet defeated The Miz by pinfall after hitting a Shooting Star Press. This will mark Ricochet’s third Money in the Bank ladder match after taking part in the 2019 and 2021 bouts.
Later in the show, Shinsuke Nakamura pinned Bronson Reed after hitting the Kinshasa. This will also mark Nakamura’s third ladder match for the briefcase as he previously competed in the 2017 and 2021 contests.
Thus far, Ricochet and Nakamura are the first two confirmed for the six-man ladder match. The next qualifying matches will air on the June 2 episode of SmackDown as Montez Ford faces LA Knight, plus Zelina Vega takes on Lacey Evans.
