On May 28, All Elite Wrestling presented a star-studded show with AEW Double or Nothing.
MJF defended the AEW World Championship against Darby Allin, “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry, and Sammy Guevara. Plus, The Elite battled Blackpool Combat Club in an Anarchy in the Arena match, and Adam Cole faced Chris Jericho in an Unsanctioned Match.

A highlight of Jim Ross’ interview with Don Callis airs. Callis says you cut the cancer out, and he hasn’t even started cutting yet.
RJ City interviews Arn Anderson, who previews Wardlow’s match with Christian Cage. Anderson says Wardlow is going to go off, big time.

The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) and HOOK (with Isiah Kassidy) vs. Ethan Page & The Gunns (Austin & Colten Gunn)
HOOK and Austin start the bout and feel each other out. The FTW Champion overpowers Austin and tags Matt Hardy. They double-team Austin. Jeff tags in and The Hardys continue to control the action. HOOK quickly tags back in, and the Hardy Party trio maintains the advantage. Austin gains the upper hand, and Colten tags in. He grounds HOOK and tags Page. HOOK fires up and hits Page with some strikes. Page plants HOOK with a powerslam. The Gunns and Page isolate HOOK. The FTW Champion rallies and tags Matt, who comes in and clears house. Austin chokes Kassidy and slams him to the floor. Kassidy grabs his injured neck, and Matt checks on him. The distraction helps Page take control.
Matt rallies and tags Jeff, who takes control with a flurry of offense. Jeff trips up when he goes for a top-rope dive and lands hard. Page gains the upper hand. HOOK tags in, and he drops Page with a clothesline. Page drills HOOK with a big boot. The Gunns get taken out, and Page is left by himself. HOOK makes Page tap out to the Redrum.
Winners: The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) & HOOK
As a result, Matt Hardy wins Page’s contract.
Renee Paquette brings out Dr. Martha Hart, who hosts the opening ceremonies of the Owen Hart Tournament. She says they turned the tournament on its head this year. Tony Khan comes out wearing a fancy hat, and Martha says the tournament will conclude at the Calgary Stampede in Canada.

Unsanctioned Match: Adam Cole vs. Chris Jericho (Special Guest Enforcer: Sabu)
Cole takes the fight to Jericho. Daniel Garcia gets involved and helps Jericho gain the upper hand. Sabu gets in Jericho’s face with a chair, and they hit each other with chairs. Cole bralws with the Jericho Appreciation Society. Sabu dives onto Matt Menard and sends him through a table. Jake Hager fights with Roderick Strong at ringside. Cole and Jericho are left alone in the ring. Cole takes control and slams Jericho’s leg against the ring post. Jericho suplexes Cole off the apron and onto the floor. The former AEW World Champion slams Cole into the steel steps.
Jericho drives a chair into Cole’s throat. He continues to control the action. Cole counters a Lionsault with a superkick. Jericho traps Cole in the Walls of Jericho. Cole escapes by spraying Jericho with a fire extinguisher. Cole blasts Jericho in the face with the fire extinguisher. Jericho sprays Cole with the fire extinguisher and drops it onto him. Britt Baker comes down and hits Jericho with a kendo stick. Saraya gets in the ring, and Baker hits her, too. They leave, and Jericho is left alone with Cole, who chokes him with a kendo stick. Jericho throws a chair at Jericho and sends him crashing through a table. Jericho brings out a steel chain, but Cole drops him with a DDT onto a chair. Cole superkicks Jericho and hits the Panama Sunrise (destroyer). Jericho chokes Cole with the chain.
Cole rallies and kicks Jericho. He hits the Boom and ties the chain to his knee before he hits the Boom again. Cole blasts Jericho with some punches and busts him open. He keeps punching until the referee calls for the bell.
