Trios Title Match And More Added To AEW Double Or Nothing

One title match and a Buy-In bout have been added to AEW Double or Nothing.

As confirmed on the May 26 episode of AEW Rampage, the House of Black (Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews, and Brody King) will defend the AEW World Trios Championship in an Open House Rules match. Their opponents were not announced, but they might have a set of challenges lined up.

During Friday’s episode, The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster) and Billy Gunn defeated RUSH, Dralistico, and Preston Vance. Bowens then called out House of Black and teased that they were coming for the gold.

Elsewhere on the show, Isiah Kassidy announced that he was injured, so would be unable to compete at Double or Nothing in the trios bout where he was set to team up with The Hardys to face Ethan Page and The Gunns. Kassidy revealed FTW Champion HOOK as his replacement for the match, which was announced for the Buy-In ahead of the pay-per-view.

Page seemingly injured Kassidy by stomping on his neck while a chair was wrapped around it on the May 19 episode of AEW Rampage.

WrestleZone will have coverage of AEW Double or Nothing as it airs on May 28.
