AEW Rampage Results (5/26/23): Ethan Page & The Gunns, The Acclaimed, More

All Elite Wrestling presented an action-packed episode of AEW Rampage on May 26.

As confirmed during the May 24 episode of AEW Dynamite, Baker and Hikaru Shida will face Nyla Rose and Marina Shafir in a tag team match. Plus, The Acclaimed and “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn will take on RUSH, Dralistico, and Preston Vance in a trios bout.

Elsewhere in the show, Ethan Page and The Gunns will compete in a trios match, but their opponents were not named in the announcement. Finally, Big Bill and Lee Moriarty will also take on the Best Friends (Trent Beretta & Chuck Taylor).

The results are as follows:

Match 1: The Acclaimed & “Daddy Ass” defeat RUSH, Dralistico, and Preston Vance via pinfall

The opening match ended with Bowens catching Dralistico late and hitting him down to the mat, to allow for Caster to hit the Mic Drop elbow for the pin and win.

After the win, Bowens grabbed the microphone and issued a challenge to the House of Black for their AEW World Trios Championships at AEW Double or Nothing.

Match 2: Ethan Page & The Gunns defeat three local talent via pinfall

In an absolutely dominant win, Page and The Gunns walked out with an easy win, as Page hit his finishr before The Gunns closed things out with their finisher. Following the end of the match, Page had some words for The Hardys.

Matt and Jeff Hardy then came out and announced that Isiah Kassidy was injured, and thus would be unable to compete at Double or Nothing in their six-man tag team match. Instead, The Hardys announced that HOOK would be replacing Kassidy, as the trio take on Ethan Page and The Gunns.

Backstage segment: Keith Lee and Dustin Rhodes

The pair were informed that Swerve Strickland and Brian Cage were entering Double or Nothing’s Blackjack Battle Royal, prompting the duo to also enter the match.

Match 3: Britt Baker & Hikaru Shida defeat Nyla Rose and Marina Shafir via submission

Baker and Shida walked out with a big win here in a back-and-forth match. Toward the end, however, Shida would help Baker avoid a big flying knee from Rose. After hitting Rose with a meteora, she then came back into the ring and hit Shafir with the katana, which allowed Baker to lock the Lockjaw in on Rose for the win.

After the match, The Outcasts appeared on the jumbotron video board, and could be seen standing over Jamie Hayter, who was holding her arm and in pain. Baker and Shida ran off to try and find their friend.

Match 4: Big Bill & Lee Moriarty defeat Best Friends via pinfall

In the final match of the night, four men who will appear in Sunday’s Blackjack Battle Royal all went at it. In a big, hard-hitting match, it was Big Bill and Moriarty who would come out on top. Late in the match, The Best Friends hit Bill with a suplex, but he kicked out of the pin. Lee then got hit with a suplex of his own, but Big Bill helped his teammate out by chokeslamming Taylor for the win.

Following the match, Bill shoved Bandido in the audience, kickstarting a massive brawl with mostly all of the members of the Blackjack Battle Royal. By the end of the brawl, tons of superstars were in the ring, and things ended with Swerve Strickland (who had come out onto the ramp) and Keith Lee (who ran down into the ring) staring each other down.
