AEW Dynamite viewership saw an increase on May 24.
According to Showbuzz Daily, 846,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.32 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership was up from last week’s episode when 814,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also rose from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.28 rating in the same demographic.
With the increase in viewership, Dynamite rose to the fourth place spot in the demographic among cable originals overall Wednesday night. On cable, AEW Dynamite was mainly defeated by TNT’s coverage of the NHL Playoffs and Vanderpump Rules on Bravo, according to Showbuzz Daily.
This week’s show kicked off Orange Cassidy successfully defending his AEW International Championship against Kyle Fletcher. In the main event, thanks to an assist from The Young Bucks, The Lucha Bros defeated Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta of the Blackpool Combat Club to retain their Ring of Honor World Tag Team Titles.
