On May 23, New Japan Pro-Wrestling continued its Best of Super Juniors 30 tournament with the ninth night of action from Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium, Stadium 2 (Edion Arena Osaka) in Osaka, Japan.
Mike Bailey, Lio Rush, Hiromu Takahashi, and other stars competed at the show, which aired on NJPW World.

- BOSJ A Block: Ryusuke Taguchi (1-8) def. KUSHIDA (2-7)
- BOSJ A Block: SHO (4-5) def. DOUKI (3-6)
- BOSJ A Block: TJP (5-4) def. Taiji Ishimori (5-4) via forfeit; Ishimori was ruled out of the tournament due to an injury.
- BOSJ A Block: Mike Bailey (7-2) def. Lio Rush (6-3)
- BOSJ A Block: Titan (6-3, 12 pts) def. Hiromu Takahashi (6-3, 12 pts)
With their wins, Mike Bailey and Titan advanced to the A Block semifinals.
