Tiffany Stratton is one of the most fabulous stars on WWE NXT, and she has borrowed from two glamorous people in the process of crafting her on-screen character.
Speaking on Under The Ring, Stratton was asked to describe how different she is from the persona behind the persona. She noted that she doesn’t really play a character, as she presents a tuned-up version of herself.
“I would definitely say that I don’t really play a character,” Stratton said. “I would say that, when I go out there, I am myself, I’m just turned up a bit. I am very out there, I’m very bold. I’m athletic, everything comes easy to me, and I would say that that’s very much Tiffany Stratton.
When asked to describe how she develops her character, Stratton noted that she has some inspirations, and she named Sharpay Evans from High School Musical and Paris Hilton as two examples. She also stated that she has been coming up with her own sayings and her outfits.
“I definitely have some inspiration, like from movie characters, like Sharpee Evans from High School Musical,” Stratton said. “I love Paris Hilton, I love her style. But for the most part, I’ve kind of created my own little sayings, like Tiffany’s Epiphanies, of Tiffy Time. It’s all kind of just been me coming up with things. All of my outfits and my gear, it’s all me coming up with the concepts and trying to figure out how do I get my character across when someone just looks at me.”
Stratton will face Roxanne Perez in the semi-finals of the NXT Women’s Championship Tournament on the May 23 episode of WWE NXT.
