Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide held a set of television tapings on May 20, and among other noteworthy bouts, new tag team champions were crowned. Read on if you wish to be spoiled.
At the tapings, which were part of AAA’s Luchando Por Mexico tour, three teams battled it out in a match for the vacant AAA World Tag Team Championship. Komander and Arez defeated Jack Evans & Myzteziz Jr. and Rey Horus & Octagon Jr. to win the gold.
The titles were vacated after Dragon Lee and Dralistico defeated FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) to win the gold at AAA Noche de Campeones on December 28, as Lee left AAA and signed with WWE.
