The Creed Brothers will aim to regain the gold at NXT Battleground.
On the May 16 episode of WWE NXT, the Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed) battled The Dyad (Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler) in a tag match. Julius and Brutus emerged victorious, as Ivy Nile leveled the playing field when Ava tried to get involved.
After the bell, the Creed Brothers went over to the commentary and noted that NXT Tag Team Champions Gallus (Wolfgang & Mark Coffey) needed some challengers. They then challenged the champions to a match at NXT Battleground. As of this writing, the match has not been confirmed.
The Creed Brothers are former NXT Tag Team Champions; they lost the titles at NXT Worlds Collide in September 2022. Gallus won the gold in a four-way match at NXT Vengeance Day 2023 in February.
