AEW World Champion MJF returned home for a special show on May 13.
MJF matches are remarkable these days, as he doesn’t wrestle every week; instead, the chance to see him lace up his boots is a fairly special occasion. He last wrestled on the May 3 episode of AEW Dynamite, and before that, his last match was at AEW Revolution on March 5. But MJF recently had a match at an independent wrestling event.
The self-proclaimed “generational talent” appeared at Create A Pro Homecoming on May 13. The AEW star faced Leo Sparrow at the show, and CAP shared the full bout on YouTube.

Long before he established himself as one of AEW’s top stars, MJF trained at the Create A Pro Wrestling school and wrestled for the promotion. Prior to his return on May 13, he hadn’t wrestled for CAP since 2019.
MJF will defend the AEW World Championship against Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara, and “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry at AEW Double or Nothing.
