New stars continue to arrive on WWE SmackDown following the WWE Draft.
On the May 12 episode of WWE SmackDown, Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson) made their debut on the blue brand. The former NXT Tag Team Champions appeared in a backstage segment where they introduced themselves to the Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Ridge Holland, and Butch). The SmackDown newcomers insulted Butch and Holland, and tensions rose between the teams. Pretty Deadly will face Holland and Butch on the May 19 episode of SmackDown.
Plus, NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn debuted on Friday night. They appeared backstage during the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match, where Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez defeated Bayley and Dakota Kai to retain the titles. Fyre and Dawn, like Pretty Deadly, were selected by SmackDown in the 2023 WWE Draft.
