Kota Ibushi ‘Brought Up’ That He Has An Offer From NJPW

Since Kota Ibushi entered free agency, he has often been linked to All Elite Wrestling, but a return to New Japan Pro-Wrestling could be a possibility.

The former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion left NJPW when his contract expired at the end of January. He had been sidelined since October 2021 with a shoulder injury, but he returned to the ring at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 9 and Joey Janela’s Spring Break 7. Ibushi has not wrestled since.

Per Dark Puroresu Flowsion, Ibushi “brought up” that he has an offer from NJPW, and he has resolved his issues with “a good chunk of people” in the company.

Ibushi previously expressed his frustrations with NJPW on social media, and he was penalized for incidents that involved others in the company.

On multiple occasions, Ibushi has expressed his interest in working with AEW. He recently noted that he hopes to be in contact with AEW CEO Tony Khan soon. More information is available here.
