The National Wrestling Alliance presented the newest episode of NWA Powerrr on May 9.
Among other matches, Thom Latimer defended the NWA World Television Championship against EC3. Plus, NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Tyrus and Chris Adonis clashed with Blunt Force Trauma (Damage and Carnage), and Ricky Morton battled Yabo the Clown.
The results are as follows:
- NWA World Television Championship: Thom Latimer (c) vs. EC3 went to a time-limit draw; Latimer retained.
- Yabo the Clown def. Ricky Morton; Yabo put his feet on the ropes to clinch the win.
- Kerry Morton came out after the match, and Ricky was upset that Kerry wasn’t there for the match.
- In an interview, Aron Stevens argued with May Valentine and hyped up Blunt Force Trauma (Damage and Carnage).
- Bully Ray came to the ring and apologized to Thom Latimer. He said that Billy Corgan told him to “say some stuff” about Latimer, and he was honest about Thim. Ray noted that he has been following Latimer’s career since he started, and he has “it”, but he gets in his own head. He stated that he wanted to see Latimer become a success, and he believes in him. He asked the fans if they believe in Latimer, and they cheer for him. Ray told Latimer that he will be the world champion one day. Daisy Kill confronted Ray and sang a song in which he insulted the veteran. Ray sings a song of his own and challenges Daisy to a match.
- Bully Ray def. Daisy Kill in less than 10 seconds.
- May Valentine interviewed NWA World Women’s Television Champion Kenzie Paige and Kylie Page. Kenzie said her sights are set on NWA 75, and she has her sights set on more gold. Kylie teased that they’ll adopt more members to their family. Kenzie previewed her title match against Sierra, which will be on next week’s show.
- In an interview, Cyon stated that he knows who he is now. He said he understand what he must do, and he’s tired of listening to everyone else now.
- Tyrus and Chris Adonis vs. Blunt Force Trauma (Damage and Carnage) (with Aron Stevens) went to a double countout, as Tyrus brawled with Carnage at ringside. Adonis was somewhat frustrated after the match.
