Taya Valkyrie is out for revenge, though she has been “suspended” by All Elite Wrestling.
Valkyrie put her hands on AEW referee Aubrey Edwards after she unsuccessfully challenged Jade Cargill for the TBS Championship on the April 26 episode of AEW Dynamite. Valkyrie was unable to use her Road to Valhalla finisher during the bout, and she was apparently frustrated that the stipulation may have played a factor in the outcome of the match. During the May 5 episode of AEW Dynamite, the commentary team noted that Valkyrie had been suspended for her actions.
Valkyre subsequently commented on the suspension in a tweet by noting that she regrets nothing and the “Jade Brand” will fall like a house of cards.
The broadcast team did not specify how long Valkyrie’s suspension will be. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
