Former WWE NXT and IMPACT Wrestling superstar Kimber Lee has taken to social media to officially announce her retirement from professional wrestling.
In a post, she said “I originally thought that this was just going to be a break from wrestling. That after some time I would be ready to put my heart into this again and come back better than I ever have before. But the thing is, the more I think about it, the more I come to realize that my heart is not in this anymore.”
The thought was that Lee was gearing up for a return to the ring, but she decided that she will not be taking any more bookings moving forward. She has not wrestled since October of 2022. She said, “I know I am being called into my healing abilities and will be continuing to step forward in that space and I would love to have as many of you as I can along for that journey.”
Kimber Lee was in NXT from 2016 until 2018 with the ring name Abbey Laith. She advanced into the quarterfinals of the 2017 Mae Young Classic and was ultimately released in 2018. You can see the whole post made by Lee below.
