Sonya Deville Comments On The Sentencing Of Her Attempted Kidnapper

Sonya Deville has broken her silence over the recent sentencing of her attempted kidnapper.

Phillip A. Thomas II attempted to kidnap Daria Berenato (Sonya Deville) in August 2020; he entered her home, and he had a knife, plastic zip ties, and duct tape, among other items. Deville escaped the scene and Thomas was subsequently arrested.

Thomas was sentenced to 15 years in prison and 15 years of probation after he pleaded guilty to attempted kidnapping, armed burglary, and aggravated stalking.

RAW Superstar Sonya Deville has taken to her Instagram page to thank everyone who has reached out to her regarding the sentencing and has assured everyone that she’s happy and healthy.

“Thank you to everyone who has reached out today. After almost 3 years we finally got some closure last week. I am happy and healthy and have amazing people by my side. To say it’s over feels odd but I am beyond grateful for the support and help I received over the past 3 years from HCSO, Tampa PD, to everyone in the courts, attorneys, friends, security and so so many more. I have a lot to say pertaining to this situation which I feel can help a lot of people in similar situations now that the legalities are over. BUT for now thank you *praying hands emoji* *black heart emoji*,” Sonya Deville said in a post.
