AEW Dynamite viewership saw a decrease on May 3, which featured a four pillars tag team match.
According to Showbuzz Daily, 776,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.28 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership was down from last week’s episode when 863,000 viewers tuned in. The demo, however, remained steady from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.28 rating in the same demographic.
Even with the decrease in viewership, Dynamite rose to the eighth place spot in the demographic among cable originals overall Wednesday night. On cable, AEW Dynamite was mainly defeated by TNT’s coverage of the NBA Playoffs, ESPN’s coverage of the NHL Playoffs, and Vanderpump Rules on Bravo, according to Showbuzz Daily.
This week’s show kicked off with Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Orange Cassidy, and Bandido defeating The Jericho Appreciation Society. The main event of the evening saw Jungle Boy and Darby Allin defeat MJF and Sammy Guevara. With this victory, the AEW World Championship match at Double or Nothing is now a four-way.
