MVP: I’ve Achieved Every Goal I Set Out To Achieve; Now I Can Help Others Do It

MVP‘s latest run in WWE is more about helping others than helping himself.

WWE Superstar MVP recently spoke with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard to discuss a wide variety of subjects.

MVP previously credited his son for being the one that inspired him to return to WWE in 2020, when he was a surprise entrant in that year’s Royal Rumble. MVP was asked if his perception of the entire wrestling business has changed because of that same mentality, and he agreed that his entire approach has changed.

“Yeah, absolutely. My entire approach. But now I’m not just doing it [for myself]. I stopped doing it for myself some time ago,” MVP said. “I mean, I take pride in everything I do, but my son who’s watching me every week, but the individuals that I deal with on a business perspective, the Hurt Business, Omos, I’m doing this for them as well.

“So, I’ve been successful, and I know how to get success out of other people so I can help elevate others to achieve their goals. I’ve achieved virtually every goal I set out to achieve, and now I can help others do it. And I’m good with that doing for others.”
