WWE NXT viewership decreased on May 2.
According to Wrestlenomics, 568,000 viewers tuned in on Tuesday; this number is down from last week when 647,000 viewers watched the show. The demo rating in the 18-to-49 demographic also dropped as this week’s show scored a 0.14 rating. NXT drew a 0.18 rating in the same demographic last week.
NXT ranked #15 in the demographic among cable originals.
This week’s show kicked off with Wes Lee successfully defending his NXT North American Championship against Drew Gulak. In the final segment of the show, Indi Hartwell relinquished the NXT Women’s Championship. She announced that there will be a tournament to crown a new champion and the finals will take place at Battleground.
