Anna Jay praises Ruby Soho and sets her sights on AEW Championship gold.
Anna Jay is perhaps the bona fide definition of an AEW original. Having had less than a dozen matches under her belt when she started working for All Elite Wrestling, she continues to improve regularly in front of AEW fans both in arenas and at home.
AEW has a host of very knowledgeable veterans on its women’s roster and in a new interview with PWMania, Anna Jay praised Ruby Soho as a locker room leader and someone who has often given her a lot of advice.
“Someone who I loved working with and love going to even though we’re kind of rivals is Ruby Soho. She’s such a great person to talk to and we tagged a lot on Dark towards the beginning of her time here. Getting advice from her, helping with my matches, and just in the locker room too, outside of the wrestling part, I do appreciate a lot of what she’s done for me as well,” said Anna.
As for what Anna is looking for in her own future, the answer is simple: AEW championship gold.
“The goal is to be a champion. For me personally, I just want to continue to get better, get the reps and get the experience, and work with everyone that I can on the roster. For me, it’s just about progressing and hopefully, one day holding a belt.”
Currently, Anna is involved in a feud with Julia Hart. While her video wall still reads Anna Jay A.S., she has not appeared with the Jericho Appreciation Society in weeks.
