The final picks of the 2023 WWE Draft were announced during the May 1 episode of WWE RAW Talk, and some noteworthy names moved brands.
NXT’s Grayson Waller was picked by WWE SmackDown, so he will be joining the main roster. Waller was interviewed in the immediate aftermath of the news, and he delivered a heated message in which he made it clear that he had a chip on his shoulder.
WWE RAW picked NXT stars Odyssey Jones and the Indus Sher trio of former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal, Veer Mahaan, and Sanga.
The full list of picks announced on the May 1 episode of WWE RAW Talk is as follows:
- WWE RAW selects Nikki Cross, Johnny Gargano, and Dana Brooke.
- WWE SmackDown selects Tamina.
- Baron Corbin, Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander, Elias, and Xyon Quinn were announced as free agents.
- WWE RAW selects Angel Garza, Humberto Carrillo, Riddick Moss, Emma, Xia Li, Tegan Nox, Piper Niven, and Akira Tozawa
- WWE RAW selects Odyssey Jones and Indus Sher (Jinder Mahal, Sanga, and Veer Mahaan)
- WWE SmackDown selects Grayson Waller
