On April 28, IMPACT Wrestling kicked off its two-night Spring Slugfest set of television tapings at Cicero Stadium in Chicago, Illinois.

- Laredo Kid defeated Jack Price
- Trinity (Naomi) debuted and cut a promo.
- IMPACT World Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo came out, and Jordynne Grace interrupted to remind them both that she’s the number one contender.
- The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) defeated Kenny King & Eddie Edwards.
- The Good Hands (John Skyler & Jason Hotch) defeated Decay.
- Masha Slamovich defeated Killer Kelly.
- Dirty Dango pinned Johnny Swinger
- Rich Swann (with Sami Callihan) defeated Angels.
- Nick Aldis defeated Sheldon Jean.
- IMPACT Knockouts World Tag Team Champions The Coven (KiLynn King & Taylor Wilde) defeated Knockouts World Champion Deonna Purrazzo and Jordynne Grace.
- Trinity saved Grace and Purrazzo from a post-match attack
The Spring Slugfest tapings will conclude with a second night of action on April 29.
