NXT Women’s Champion Indi Hartwell is moving up to the main roster.
The 2023 WWE Draft kicked off on the April 28 episode of WWE SmackDown. NXT stars dominated the fourth round; Hartwell was selected to WWE RAW, and NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre were drafted to WWE SmackDown.
Hartwell, a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion, won the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Stand & Deliver on April 1. She successfully defended the title against Tiffany Stratton and Roxanne Perez on the “NXT Spring Breakin'” special episode of NXT on April 25. Hartwell seemingly suffered an injury during the bout, but she finished the match and emerged victorious.
As of this writing, it’s unclear how Hartwell’s looming move to RAW will impact the NXT Championship. The WWE Draft rosters will take effect on May 8.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
