The first night of the WWE Draft on SmackDown featured several special appearances.
WWE welcomed back several Hall of Famers and legends to announce 2023 Draft picks throughout the April 28 episode of SmackDown.
For the second round, Rob Van Dam and Michael “PS” Hayes announced the picks for RAW and SmackDown, respectively. Later, JBL and Teddy Long appeared together to present the third round.
In the fourth and final round of the night, Shawn Michaels and Road Dogg appeared to announce draft picks from NXT. NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn were drafted to WWE SmackDown, and NXT Women’s Champion Indi Hartwell was selected by WWE RAW.
