The WWE Draft officially began on Friday night, and unsurprisingly, the first two picks were the WrestleMania 39 headliners.
With the first official pick in the 2023 WWE Draft, the SmackDown brand took “The Bloodline,” but not the entire Bloodline. Instead, Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, and Paul Heyman were taken as a trio. No word on why The Usos were not included in that list was explained, however, so it seems as if the tag team duo will be up for grabs elsewhere.
Directly after The Bloodline had been taken, the RAW brand wasted little time in taking Cody Rhodes, the man who challenged Roman Reigns for his Undisputed titles at WrestleMania, and who will go up against Brock Lesnar at WWE’s Backlash next week.
WrestleZone will continue to provide WWE Draft updates throughout the night.
