RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair Drafted To WWE SmackDown

The current RAW Women’s Champion is headed to SmackDown.

Triple H kicked off the 2023 WWE Draft to reveal the first round. In the third overall pick, he announced that Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair is moving to SmackDown.

It’s been a year and a half since “The EST” was regularly featured on Friday nights. She was drafted to SmackDown in 2020 but then moved to Raw in October 2021, where she has remained since.

The move seemingly means that Belair and SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley will switch titles, similar to what happened to Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch in 2021. Belair has held the RAW Women’s Championship since she beat Becky Lynch at WWE WrestleMania 38.

Additionally, Becky Lynch was drafted over to RAW. Meanwhile, SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley will not be eligible to be drafted until the May 1 episode of WWE RAW.

WrestleZone will continue to provide WWE Draft updates throughout the night.
