WWE Draft Round One
Triple H steps to the podium on the stage and welcomes everyone to the 2023 WWE Draft. Ground rules: every Raw and SmackDown superstar is eligible to switch brands. The Draft will conclude this Monday on Monday Night Raw. In addition to the Raw and SmackDown roster, select members of the NXT roster will be available to draft. The new rosters will take effect Monday, May 8th, after WWE Backlash. The first pick belongs to SmackDown. That pick is:
1st Pick, Round #1 (SmackDown): The Bloodline (Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, and Solo Sikoa)
Triple H announces that since Reigns has been drafted to SmackDown, the new World Heavyweight Championship will be exclusive to Raw.
2nd Pick, Round #1(Raw): Cody Rhodes
3rd Pick, Round #1 (SmackDown): Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair
4th Pick, Round #1 (Raw): Becky Lynch
At the end of the round, Triple H introduces The Usos. Jimmy and Jey walk out on the stage and congratulate their cousin Roman Reigns for being drafted #1 overall again. They dedicate their title victory tonight to Reigns. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn walk out on the stage. Zayn points out that Reigns has been ignoring the Usos since WrestleMania. Also, Reigns had himself, Sikoa, and Heyman drafted without the Usos. Jimmy says they will take back their titles tonight, and everything will be fine. Owens goes nuts and says he doesn’t care about any of this, all he knows is they are going to retain their titles tonight.
Butch w/Sheamus vs. LA Knight
Knight and Butch trade strikes. Butch takes Knight down and bends his hand in ways it shouldn’t. Knight sends Butch out to the apron. Butch lands a reverse ten beats. Double wrist lock by Butch. Knight stuns Butch on the ropes. Butch falls out of the ring. Knight back suplexes Butch on the apron. After the break, Knight pulls Butch into the ring post. BFD by Knight. Knight pins Butch.

2nd Pick, Round #2 (Raw): IMPERIUM (Intercontinental Champion Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser, and Giovanni Vinci)
3rd Pick, Round #2 (SmackDown): Edge
4th Pick, Round #2 (Raw): Matt Riddle
The LWO vs. The Street Profits vs. Braun Strowman and Ricochet
Everyone attacks Strowman. Strowman throws each of his opponents out of the ring. Strowman almost throws Ricochet but realizes it’s his partner. Ricochet breathes a sigh of relief. Strowman changes his mind, picks Ricochet up, and launches him onto everyone else. After the break, Del Torro, Dawkins, and Ricochet are in the ring. Del Torro walks the ropes and lands a dropkick to Dawkins. Ricochet goes up top. Del Torro drops him with an enziguri.
Wilde tags in lands a high-angle springboard on the Street Profits. Del Torro and Wilde work over Ricochet. Strowman breaks up Del Torro’s pin. Ford tries a springboard, but Strowman swats him out of the air. Strowman clears the ring. Freight train by Strowman. Dawkins surprises Strowman with a tope. Ricochet surprises Dawkins with a dive. Dawkins and Ford hit their finish on Ricochet. Ford pins Ricochet.
