Nick Gage will take on Zack Sabre Jr. in a first-time match.
Game Changer Wrestling announced that Gage, a former GCW World Champion, will face Sabre Jr., the reigning NJPW World Television Champion, at GCW Thank Me Later on June 17. Sabre Jr. will make his GCW debut at the Fight Night: Brooklyn event on May 11; there, he will face Tony Dppen.
On paper, the match between Gage and Sabre Jr. is an apparent clash of styles, as Gage is a deathmatch wrestler while Sabre Jr. is widely viewed as one of the best technical wrestlers in the world.
Maki Itoh and Rina Yamashita have also been announced for GCW Thank Me Later. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show once it airs on June 17.
