Bad Bunny got a measure of vengeance against Damian Priest on the April 24 episode of WWE RAW, and he will get the chance to score some more at WWE Backlash.
At the close of Monday’s episode of WWE RAW, Rey Mysterio beat Damian Priest via disqualification after the powerhouse threw a chair at him. When Priest attacked Mysterio after the bell, Bad Bunny came running down with a kendo stick and saved the WWE Hall of Famer. He proceeded to hit Priest with the kendo stick until the latter got away.
Bad Bunny then got on the broadcast table to reveal that he won’t be hosting WWE Backlash anymore; instead, he will face Priest in a San Juan Street Fight at the premium live event.
WWE subsequently confirmed the match for the May 6 event.
Bad Bunny first wrestled at WWE WrestleMania 37 in 2021, where he and Priest defeated The Miz and John Morrison. He also competed in the 2022 Men’s Royal Rumble match. Bad Bunny started feuding with Priest and The Judgment Day when he helped Rey Mysterio beat Dominik Mysterio at WWE WrestleMania 39.
