AEW Dynamite viewership saw a decrease on April 19, which featured a match between Jungle Boy and Sammy Guevara.
According to Showbuzz Daily, 830,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.28 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership was down from last week’s episode when 866,000 viewers tuned in. The demo stayed steady from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.28 rating in the same demographic.
With the decrease in viewership, Dynamite dropped to the seventh place spot in the demographic among cable originals overall Wednesday night. On cable, AEW Dynamite was mainly defeated by TNT’s coverage of the NBA Playoffs and Vanderpump Rules on Bravo, according to Showbuzz Daily.
This week’s show kicked off with a four-way promo between the four pillars of All Elite Wrestling. That promo led to the main event which saw Sammy Guevara defeat Jungle Boy by count-out thanks to an assist from MJF.
