Steve Maclin is ready for any and all challengers.
Shortly after he won the IMPACT World Championship at Rebellion, Steve Maclin had the following comments about his big win:
“There isn’t much to say. You are looking at your new IMPACT World Heavyweight Champion, Steve Maclin. And I said it for two years since I breached down the doors in this building, that I was going to stack bodies one by one until I got this, until I got this target on my shoulder. There is no target on my back,” Maclin said.
“It says front toward enemy on my chest for a reason. So if you want a shot, please stand in line,” he added. “Take your shot because it’s just going to be like the rest of the times. Tag em’ and bag ‘em, and mayhem for all.”

Steve Maclin spoke with WrestleZone ahead of the pay-per-view, and he was asked what his first order of business might be as champion. Maclin said he wasn’t sure about the emotional aspect, but he echoed his post-match comments and said he’s ready for all challenges.
“I’m going to put the world on notice,” Maclin said. “Whatever I say, and I don’t know how I’m going to feel after I win, and even the possibility of losing is there too, I know that. But to go in confidently, why wouldn’t I? It’s the biggest match of my career, why would I go in with doubt. But I don’t know. I don’t know how I’m going to feel. I’m going to be excited and probably very emotional on the inside as well of having this moment of being the IMPACT World Champion, for lack of a better term, being forgotten no more and having a reason for being remembered. So it’s one of things I’m just going to feel out the next week on TV, or maybe even that night say something. We’ll see. But any and all comers that want to challenge me for the IMPACT World title when I am the champion, please.”
