AEW Dynamite Viewership Decreases On 4/12, Demo Also Drops

AEW Dynamite viewership saw a decrease on April 12, which featured the surprise return of Jeff Hardy.

According to Showbuzz Daily, 866,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.30 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership was down slightly from last week’s episode when 877,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also dropped from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.28 rating in the same demographic.

Even with the decrease in viewership, Dynamite remained in the sixth place spot in the demographic among cable originals overall Wednesday night. On cable, AEW Dynamite was mainly defeated by ESPN’s coverage of NBA basketball and Vanderpump Rules on Bravo, according to Showbuzz Daily.

This week’s show kicked off with a match that saw Darby Allin defeat Swerve Strickland. The main event of the show saw Chris Jericho defeat Keith Lee thanks to an assist from Swerve.
