AEW star Kenny Omega showed his support for his hometown team.
In a tweet, the Winnipeg Jets shared a video package that highlighted the team and its mission to stay in Winnipeg. Omega retweeted the message, praising the “mysterious voice” that narrated the video. He also wrote, “Go Jets Go!”
Omega is a Winnipeg native, and AEW recently made his debut in the former world champion’s hometown. On the March 15 episode of AEW Dynamite, Omega and fellow Winnipeg native Chris Jericho headlined the show; they competed in a three-way trios match for the AEW World Trios Championship, and the House of Black emerged victorious.

The Winnipeg Jets clinched the final playoff spot in the Western Conference on Tuesday night by beating the Minnesota Wild. The Jets will now move on to face the Las Vegas Golden Knights in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
