Carmelo Hayes now knows his first challenger.
In the main event of the April 11 episode of WWE NXT, Dragon Lee, JD McDonagh, Grayson Waller, and Duke Hudson battled in a four-way to determine who will earn the next NXT Championship match. In the end, Dragon Lee looked to have the win over Hudson, but Waller snuck in with a stunner before stealing the three-count over the Chase U member.
As a result, Waller will now challenge Carmelo Hayes for the NXT Championship on NXT Spring Breakin’ on Tuesday, April 25.
The NXT title match is the only bout confirmed so far for NXT Spring Breakin’. WrestleZone will have complete coverage of the special as it airs.
