Report: Brian Cage Re-Signs With AEW/ROH

Brian Cage is reportedly set to stay with All Elite Wrestling and Ring of Honor for the foreseeable future, as he has signed a new deal.

Cage, one-third of the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions, retained the titles alongside Kaun and Toa Liona at ROH Supercard of Honor on March 31. His contract was up, but he reportedly agreed to work through the show. Cage was then reportedly working without a contract, but a new update states that he has put pen to paper.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that Cage has signed a long-time, multi-year contract that will keep him with AEW and ROH. Previous reports indicated that some top talent in AEW pushed for Cage to re-sign, but WWE had interest in him as well. Per Sapp, Cage ultimately liked the offer AEW gave him.

Sources noted that AEW worked hard to get the deal done, and the two sides agreed to a deal in principle by the time Cage aligned with Swerve Strickland on the April 7 episode of AEW Rampage.
