Following his loss to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 and subsequent attack at the hands of Brock Lesnar, Cody Rhodes has taken to social media to address the past week and a half, as well as give an update on his future.
In a lengthy Instagram post on Saturday, Rhodes acknowledged that WrestleMania 39 was not the result he wanted to have, and knows many fans were equally as disappointed as he was. Rhodes went on to say that despite that, he did enjoy the ride and the lead-up to the event.
He went on to thank the likes of his wife, Brandi, the WWE, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and many of WWE’s leaders behind the scenes, including the McMahon family, as well as the fans, for the moment.
As for what’s next, Rhodes said that he would be addressing what his future holds on the next episode of Monday Night RAW, which is scheduled for April 10, 2023. There, Rhodes said, he would speak about his future and “what may be next” for the superstar.
