Our thoughts are with Sabu and all of his ECW colleagues at this time as we await for some hopefully positive news on his status.

Thank you for understanding

Taking to Twitter after the statement, Sabu made a brief message saying that he was doing better, and thanked fans for their well wishes. As of now, it’s unclear exactly what happened, but hopefully Sabu is doing beter now that he’s in medical care.

A decorated legend in the world of wrestling, Sabu is best known for his stint with the hardcore wrestling promotion ECW. He is a three-time World Heavyweight Champion, having won the ECW World Heavyweight Championship twice, and also holding the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. He hasn’t wrestled since 2021, but is a mainstay at various conventions and gatherings.
