Cora Jade has returned to NXT, and she has set her sights on the gold.
On the April 4 episode of WWE NXT, Indi Hartwell successfully defended the NXT Women’s Championship against Zoey Stark. After the bell, Tiffany Stratton came out and stared Hartwell down. Her appearance distracted the champion, and Jade attacked Hartwell from behind. Jade then posed with the title and told Stratton that the title is hers.
As Jade was leaving, she was confronted by Lyra Valkyria. The two stars had briefly been feuding prior to Jade’s absence.
Hartwell last wrestled at a live event on January 20, and she has not competed on NXT TV since January 10. She was reportedly dealing with an undisclosed injury.
