Matt Riddle Returns On 4/3 WWE RAW

Matt Riddle is back, as he returned on the April 3 episode of WWE RAW.

Riddle appeared during a special segment of Miz TV on WWE RAW, as he showed up after The Miz complained about the fact that he essentially had to fight in three matches over the weekend. Miz said that there will be no more surprises now, and out came Riddle.

Riding down to the ring on a scooter, Riddle then asked if the crowd if they missed him, before Miz attacked him from behind. Riddle got the upper hand, however, as he hit Miz with a Ripcord Knee followed by the Bro Derek.

WWE subsequently confirmed that Riddle will face The Miz on the April 10 episode of WWE RAW.

Riddle was seemingly written out of WWE TV when Solo Sikoa brutally attacked him on the December 5 episode of WWE RAW. “The Original Bro” was taken away on a stretcher, and wasn’t seen after. Michael Cole offered an update on the following episode of SmackDown, stating that Riddle would be out for six weeks.

A report from Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net subsequently revealed that the reason for his absence was that Riddle failed a second drug test, and he would be dealing with a “rehab or fired” situation.
