In-Ring Segment: Triple H
Triple H welcomes the crowd to the show. The crowd cheers as Triple H puts over WrestleMania. Triple H thanks the superstars, and every crew member for their hard work, even Stu, the cameraman. Stu waves to the crowd. Lastly, Triple H thanks the WWE Universe as well. Triple H assures the fans that the WWE is going nowhere, even with the announcement earlier today. He announces proudly that we are the WWE, then, now, forever… together. Triple H introduces the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns.
Reigns walks to the ring with Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman in tow. Triple H meets them on the ramp and hugs Reigns. Reigns is all smiles. The crowd is showering him with boos. Heyman and Reigns laugh. Reigns tells Hollywood to acknowledge him. Before Reigns can do anything else, Cody Rhodes’ music hits. Reigns giggles as Heyman rolls his eyes. Rhodes says he knows what he wants to talk about. Today is turning out differently than he and a lot of other anticipated. He thought he would be standing here as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

He’ll acknowledge this, at WrestleMania, Reigns was the better competitor. Rhodes is tired of Sikoa being a factor. Reigns has skated by and come out on top, but that wasn’t the case last night. Last night, Rhodes had him. Rhodes knows what he wants to talk about. It boils down to one word: rematch. Reigns balks at the idea. Heyman takes the mic and asks when Rhodes wants this hypothetical rematch.
Rhodes says tonight. The crowd goes nuts. Heyman says no. Not tonight. Not at any show, not ever. Rhodes says he’s not in the mood for Heyman and his bull. Rhodes says if Reigns won’t take the match, they should at least give the people what they want and have a tag match tonight. He basically fought Reigns and Sikoa last night anyway, so what difference does it make? Reigns and Heyman talk it over.
Heyman says they accept, but with a few conditions. Rhodes’ partner has to be someone who wrestled at WrestleMania. Whoever it is, if they walk down the ramp to team with Rhodes, they can NEVER challenge for the title as long as Reigns is champion. Reigns lets out a belly laugh. Heyman asks Rhodes what he wants to talk about now. Brock Lesnar’s music hit. Reigns is not happy. Heyman looks like he’s gonna cry. Lesnar power walks to the ring and hugs Rhodes. Lesnar stands with Rhodes. Reigns and Sikoa slowly back out of the ring.
